Days in Auckland, New Zealand

I have been in New Zealand for five weeks. I was in Auckland, north island of New Zealand for the first three days ( 6th - 8th August ). My honey, Daren Tiu's sisters are staying at the Queen Street, the main street of Auckland, which is right at the city centre.

First day ( 6th August ) :

They brought me to eat Korean food for lunch and dinner. I did not take picture of the food because I was too tired, could not sleep during the ten hours flight @@

Second day ( 7th August ) :

All of us slept until almost afternoon only woke up. We went to Homeworld Restaurant which is a Chinese restaurant to have our lunch. After that, Daren and I had a walk at the Queen Street. Some of the most important buildings of the city for example the Bank of New Zealand building, the ferry building, Auckland Town Hall are located at this street. Besides, Queen Street is one of the main shopping areas in Auckland city. It is something like Bintang Road at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Shops close very early, around 4-5pm, but they are opened until 8-9pm on Fridays. Daren said three hours is not enough for shopping haha, but if is just walk, do not stop, from front to back, maybe takes around 45 minutes.

At night, we went to the New Lynn Rasa Sayang Restaurant, which is called as 大红花餐厅 in Chinese, to have our dinner. Hibiscus, in Chinese is called as 大红花, is the national flower of Malaysia. This restaurant is very famous of Malaysian food. The food is very delicious until I have to admit that it can be competed with the food in Malaysia.

After dinner, we went to the casino a while. The casino is located right inside the skycity tower. Skycity is the premiere entertainment destination in Auckland city. Besides casino, there are also 18 bars and restaurants, two hotels, sky tower, a function centre, and theaters.

After that, we went for karaoke to celebrate Daren and his cousin brother, KK birthday. KK's birthday is on that day while his birthday is one day later than KK. We had lots of fun at that night.

Third day ( 8th August ) :

We went to have steamboat for our lunch...

After eating lunch, we went for a walk at the city and casino again for a while. We met honey's friends for dinner at Korean restaurant and karaoke again after that.
